ESCANABA, MI – The 40th Annual U.P. Sports Hall of Fame All-Star Basketball Classic is scheduled for June 24 and will be held at Bay College for the second year in a row. Festivities begin at 5 pm.
The evening will begin with the finals of the skills competition at 5 pm. Players will compete in a free throw, three-point, and dunk competition. At approximately 5:30 pm the Girl's All-Star Game will start, featuring student-athletes from all around the Upper Peninsula split into North and South teams. The boy's game will follow in a similar format, and is scheduled to tip at around 7:30 pm.
Tickets will be sold at the door. All proceeds will benefit the UP Sports Hall of Fame.
