ESCANABA, MI – Bay College's Mckenzie Hoffmeyer has been named the MCCAA Northern Conference Player of the Week for her play during the week of January 12-18.

On Wednesday Hoffmeyer (SO, Bark River, MI) helped lead the Norse to a 95-35 win over North Central Michigan College on the road.  She scored 20 points on nine of 17 shooting and had seven rebounds, eight assists, and nine steals.

Bay was on the road again on Saturday and went to Muskegon Community College, a game in which they won by a final score of 77-60.  Hoffmeyer finished that game with 17 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, and five steals.

For the week Mckenzie averaged 18.5 points per game, shot 50.0%, and had nine rebounds, five assists, and seven steals per game.

The Norse will return home this week with a Wednesday matchup against Alpena Community College at 5:30 pm.  They will then welcome Delta College on Saturday at 1 pm.
