Adam Page Named MCCAA Northern Conference Player of the Week

ESCANABA, MI – Bay College Men's Basketball picked up two victories over the weekend, thanks in part to Adam Page who was named the MCCAA Northern Conference Player of the Week for his efforts over the weekend.

Against Minnesota North – Hibbing, Page (FR, Chicago, IL) was good for 11 points, three rebounds, five assists, and four steals.  The Norse pulled away late for a 95-75 win in the season opener.

On Saturday the Norse faced a tough Rock Valley College team who received votes in the NJCAA Division 2 Preseason Poll.  In a tight contest in which the Golden Eagles led most of the way, Page had 15 points, three rebounds, two assists, and one steal.  He also shot the ball well from deep, hitting three of six from behind the three-point arc, including the go-ahead basket in final seconds of the game, helping propel the Norse to a 71-68 win to round out the weekend.

For the week Page averaged 13 points, three rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.5 steals and shot 57.9% from the floor, and 50.0% from three point.
