PORT HURON, MI – A mid first half scoring drought spelled the beginning of the end for the Bay College Norse Men's Basketball Team (5-4) on Friday evening. The St. Clair County Community College Skippers (6-2) ran away with a 99-62 win on their home court.
The two teams traded blows in the early going, and it had the making of a drawn out battle. Bay got a three-pointer from Matt Wagner (FR, Marinette, WI) to tie the game with just over 11 minutes left in the first half, but the Skippers took over from there.
